Regional Ring Road

 Regional Ring Road

In Telangana, Government is building Regional Ring Road to make transport more easy and to check traffic. It is believed to be game changer in south as it boosts goods transport as well as public transport.

RRR runs through 4  districts of telangana namely Rangareddy, Bhuvanagiri, Siddipet and sangareddy.

Length of RRR is 340 km.

Estimated cost of project is around 17,000 crores.

RRR is divided into two parts

1. Northen half

2. Southern half

Northern half with a length of approx. 164 km is estimated to cost Rs. 9,500-crore and will connect Sangareddy,  Narsapur, Toopran, Gajwel, Pragnapur, Yadagirigutta, and Bhuvanagiri

Southern half with a length of approx. 182 km is estimated to cost Rs. 6,480-crore and will connect Bhuvanagiri, Choutuppal, Ibrahimpatnam, Kandukur, Amangal, Chevella, Shankarpally and Sangareddy.

These regions are strategically linked to different national highways NH 65, NH 44, NH 163, NH 765, making them more accessible to major economic hubs and residential areas within Hyderabad.

ROUTE MAP

The northern section of the RRR extends from Sangareddy to Choutuppal, while the southern section runs from Choutuppal back to Sangareddy, with a total length of 158 kilometres. Approximately 1,900 hectares of land will be required for the project. As per the DPR, the northern segment is to be executed in six packages, designed for speeds of up to 120 kmph.

Interchanges of Regional Ring Road

  • Hyderabad Mumbai National Highway Interchange: Between Peddapur and Girmapur Village

  • Sangareddy to Nanded Road: Fasalwadi near Shivampet

  • Hyderabad to Medak road: Between Reddypalli and Chinthakunta

  • Hyderabad to Nagpur Highway: Masaipet near Toopran

  • Hyderabad to Karimnagar (Rajiv Highway): Gundanpally near Gouraram

  • Hyderabad to Warangal National Highway: Bhuvanagiri

  • Jagdevpur to Choutuppal (Bhuvanagiri-Nalgonda) Road: Between Mandapuram and Penumativanigudem

  • Hyderabad to Vijayawada Highway: Bangarigadda near Choutuppal

There will be eight interchanges on the northern portion of the RRR Hyderabad. These interchanges may be in the cloverleaf interchange model or structure. The interchanges will help provide connectivity to National and State Highways from the Regional Ring Road.

As per the Regional Ring Road Hyderabad master plan and RRR road map details, it will pass through existing roads on five reserve forest areas and 125 villages, along the alignment.

Land Acquisition :

The state government began the land acquisition process for the project, after the approval given by the National Highway Authority. Plans have been made for the acquisition of 1785.5 acres of land. A private company has been appointed for conducting the survey to identify the areas where the ring road will pass. The marking is done through satellite with the help of the latest survey instrument for the construction of the road.

The Ministry of Road Transport and Highways has floated a tender for a consultant to prepare the DPR for land acquisition for RRR and the report of the northern part of RRR of 158 Km.

The State and the Central governments will share the cost of land in equal proportion and the entire cost of constructing the project will be borne by the Centre.

The RRR project is under the HMDA Master Plan 2031, which is a plan to develop the infrastructure of Hyderabad to support a population of 185 lakhs and a working population of 65 lakh by the year 2031. Under the HMDA Master Plan 2031, there are plans for new urban nodes and centres in the Hyderabad Metropolitan Region.

A total of 916 acres of land is set to be acquired in 15 villages of six mandals for the road, which include Kongarakhurd village in Maheshwaram mandal, Lemur, Thimmapur, Rachuloor, Gummadavelly, Panjaguda, Meerkhanpet and Mucherla in Kandukur mandal, Kadtal and Mudwin in Kadtal mandal, Amangal and Akuthotapally in Amangal mandal, Kurmidda in Yacharam mandal and Ferozguda and Kongarakalan villages in Ibrahimpatnam mandal.

Of the 916 acres required, a total 568 acres of the land is privately owned. Further 156 acres belongs to the Telangana Industrial Infrastructure Corporation, and 169 acres are reserve forest. Government land, assigned or encroached, is only 23 acres.

Our solar system

We call it the solar system because it is made up of our star, the Sun, and everything bound to it by gravity. The solar system has one star, eight planets, five officially named  dwarf planets ,  hundreds of moons, thousands of comets, and more than a million asteroids. Our solar system is located in the Milky Way, a barred spiral galaxy with two major arms, and two minor arms. Our Sun is in a small, partial arm of the Milky Way called the Orion Arm, or Orion Spur, between the Sagittarius and Perseus arms. Our solar system orbits the center of the galaxy at about 515,000 mph (828,000 kph). It takes about 230 million years to complete one orbit around the galactic center.
